The Actuarial Science Program at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is one of the few nationally recognized programs with both the SOA Center of Actuarial Excellence (CAE) designation and CAS Gold Level status. Our curriculum is carefully aligned with the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) pathways, covering most preliminary exams as well as all VEE requirements. Students receive rigorous training in probability, mathematics, finance, and predictive analytics, complemented by professional development, scholarships, and strong industry partnerships, ensuring they are well-prepared for actuarial exams and rewarding careers.
